The fried chicken is terrific. The people are super nice. The environment is lively, yet casual and not loud. Family-friendly, good for grabbing a drink with friends. And on a nice side street, so there are very few crazies running about :). Always a bonus in SF.

I had this food last weekend and it was a good amount that pretty much equaled the price of what I paid, since it has pretty large servings and was something good to have during an outdoor block party. I was amazingly full and had leftovers to take home. It was that good. I had the Chic-n-Waffle Benedict and side of Mac & Cheese. I had been craving Mac and cheese forever and it was creamy and warm. The eggs benedict was really good too (the sweetness and flavor was perfectly tart the way I like it) and it was surprisingly suoee filling with chicken and waffles. It also had potatoes on the side and was simply delicious comfort food. Ambiance Indoors there's nice decor, big TV screens and soft seats, and of course the music was great since I was out there to support and event with DJs. Service I also got to meet the owner, Deana (not sure if I spelled that right sorry!), who was super nice. I came back a few days later when I thought I had left my shirt there and the staff was helpful in checking their lost and found. The music and vibes was good then too. Verdict I definitely would come here again for food and drinks with friends.

A hole in the wall restaurant close to the ballpark. Came on a weekday and evening and there were plenty of seats. Ordering was done online via QR code. I ordered a plate with bone-in fried chicken, jalapeño kale slaw, and mac and cheese. The plate also came with a mini jalapeño corn muffin. While the food was good, nothing was particularly memorable or spectacular. My friend got the fried catfish, cajun fries, and waffles. The waffles paired nicely with our fried chicken and catfish. My friend's order came out incorrectly at first (chicken instead of catfish) but it was a little difficult to track down a waiter since we had ordered through the QR code. Eventually we were able to track the waiter down when they came to serve food at the table next to us. Felt a little pricy to have the default tip percentage set to 20% despite the minimal service. Overall, decent place for a casual weekday dinner, but nothing that really blew my mind here in terms of taste, service, or vibes.

Chicken and Waffles is something I really love. It just sounds so wrong but when you think about it, it makes sense. Came here because a few of us was hungry but ended up everybody getting chicken and waffles. Delicious juicy chicken with waffles, hot sauce is on the table and this lovely maple syrup which I absolutely loved. Such a great place off the main street. Our only downer for the meal was one of us got Mac and cheese and it was grainy. though none of us liked it, it wasn't significant enough to ruin our meal.

I'm shocked this place doesn't have a higher rating. This review is for the dine in experience...what a hole in the wall! The fried chicken here was so juicy and hot, the skin was also a really nice thing crispy, not super oily/greasy. Approved by my friends from the South as well. The waffles were also a big highlight for me....so soft and lightly dusted with powdered sugar. Would definitely recommend going in person

We went to Little Skillet for brunch and it is a cute spot with a sports bar theme with good food! I got the Veggie Plate and we got some Beignet Bites which were both really good! The place wasn't too packed and it was easy to get a table. My only feedback would be to have more servers as the one person who was working was overwhelmed with a lot of tables.

Cute hidden gem in an alley and a great place to go after a ball game. I love that it's also Filipino owned too! The place is huge with booths and a full bar in the front and more large tables in the back. There are 2 different QR codes for cocktails and food. I like the efficiency of paying per order so you don't have to wait for a bill at the end; however, I do wish the receipt was emailed to me like how Square does it. The menu is variety of amount of chicken and sides you want. We ordered "The Works" 2 pieces of chicken and mac n cheese. It was not enough. The 8 pc between 3 people is a good amount. The collard greens and mac n cheese are good sides. The grits are TERRIBLE. I also appreciate that they give you a choice of what kind of meat you want without extra costs! The waffles are crisped nicely too. Their syrup has a nice kick to it, kind of like a hot honey. Definitely a great spot to revisit when in the area.

Little Skillet serves up a slice of Southern goodness with its inviting atmosphere and hearty portions. I recently snagged one of their Too Good To Go bags and was pleasantly surprised by the swift service and generous portion size. In my goodie bag, I got two pieces of their famous fried chicken, their mashed potatoes and corn muffin. The chicken was so perfectly crispy yet moist on the inside and the mashed potatoes were phenomenal. The indoor space was cozy with a rustic vibe, reminiscent of a western diner, which added a nice touch to the dining experience - the overall ambiance was enjoyable. Little Skillet delivers a taste of Southern charm, making it a spot worth revisiting for another comforting meal (heard their brunch is DELICIOUS)

My current go-to place in mission bay: Tasty soul food with particularly crispy, mouth-watering friend chicken and a great interior vibe. The food: I've been here several times when craving soul comfort food and it's always hit the spot. I especially suggest their perfectly seasoned and tender fried chicken with crispy waffles. You can tell their ingredients are high quality. Service: we were told to order with a QR code and the food arrived pretty quickly. The interior: it has a welcoming and modern interior with jazz/hip hop music and is a great place to catch up with friends. The bar has a great vibe too

Ambiance: this brunch place has indoor bar style seating and outdoor food court style seating, and it serves the area for fifteen years Service: very friendly and attentively, patient with specific requests Food: the menu is simple and they are specialized in southern style fried chicken, there's combo option to try more items, such as The Works (2 Chx, 2 Waffles, Muffins, & Side) Fried Chicken - **** the chicken is brined with a secret recipe for 24 hours to ensure flavor in every bite, dusted with the signature 13 spice blend Chicken flour, then deep fried to juicy, golden color and tender and juicy, recommend Waffles - *** Rich and deep, both in flavor and texture, Belgian-style thick waffles are thick, not very crispy Jalapeño Mini Corn Muffins - *** Fresh baked, honey butter, average taste Mac & Cheese - ** Sharp Tillamook Cheddar, creamy base Po' Boy Shrimp - **** choice of protein crispy fried, on a soft white roll, topped with jalapeño kale slaw, leafy green romaine, juicy tomatoes, house pickles and a slather of remoulade, served with housemade chips, crunchy shrimp, recommend Price: generous portions and reasonable prices, expect $25 per person
